Dawn Dolls and Ravengirl in a Gallery!

Exclusively at
Howley's Show:: Art You Can Hug!

I created a blank Dawn Doll for Ravengirl and she created this beautiful outfit then entered it into a Gallery show at Howley's Restaurant, 4700 S Dixie Hwy in West Palm Beach, Florida! Ravengirl is even to so awesome to be donating 100% of the sale to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Dawn's name. She's so amazing :)

The show runs from March 30, 2010 till April 27th and features handmade art dolls, plushies, softies, sock monsters and anything else you can hug!

Special thanks to Amanda and of course the fabulous Ravengirl!

The Asheville Dawn Doll

Hello friends!
I would like to show you the outfit for the next Dawn Doll, shown below on my prototype doll. I just had to share since she is so sweet!

This outfit was created by my amazing friend Suzanne from Moonstonecircle. She created this original dress, knitted in beautiful organic yarn, and she added her famous moonstonecircle touch with vintage beading. You can see her pretty picts here on her blog.

So this doll will be available on the etsy store soon, I'll let you know when!

Also, I'm proud to announce Dawn Dolls is in a Gallery show in South Florida, more info and picts coming soon!

Where does time go?

My dear readers, I apologize for letting this much time pass before I posted something again.

When I started this project a year ago, I had so much time on my hands. Three months later in late March my life changed dramatically as contracting work soared to new heights. Then the kittens came in June and destroyed my studio which I had slowly made perfect over the previous six months. Since then I've been working hard to make those ends meet. We have all been hit hard by these trying times, and I am saddened every day as I look at what will hopefully be my second studio yet more motivated to get things back on track for Dawn Dolls.

Please bear with me, I promise to get this jump started again soon, so check back once in a while especially if you're not on the newsletter email list.

Thank you all.
